Participate
To participate in the contest, you must fill in the information requested in the form and wait for us to validate your participation. Once validated you will receive instructions in your email.

Complete all required fields in the participation form at the bottom of this page. Don’t forget to select the category you are applying for. The email address must be real, as we will contact you via email for the next steps.

An entry may be rejected for late submission or for failure to comply with any of the rules established in general for the contest or for a particular category. An entry may also be rejected if it is interpreted as intentionally or unintentionally containing offenses, insults and expressions that discriminate against groups based on class, gender, skin color, sexual orientation or ethnicity. Likewise, applications will be rejected if the material submitted includes graphic elements or documents that allude to recognizable public figures. In addition, any material that could be interpreted as pornographic will be rejected.

When is the deadline for submission?
The opening date to enter the contest and the deadline for submitting material are detailed in the contest rules section
How old do I have to be to participate in the contest?
You must be at least 18 years old to enter the contest
Which language can I participate in?
The material with which you participate can be in any language, as long as, in case it is not in English or Spanish, it is supplemented with subtitles, documents or descriptions in one of these two languages. Likewise, verbal or written communication should preferably be in English or Spanish
I would like to become a sponsor for the event, how can I do it?

I would like to attend one of the conferences and discussion panels, the screening of the short films or the awards ceremony. Is there a place to sign up?
We will be updating the dates and locations of the different events in the main section of this website. We will also add Eventbrite registration forms to apply for your seat (totally free). Keep an eye out for changes to the website or follow us on our social networks so you don’t miss out
Can I apply for more than one category?
Yes, you can apply to more than one category as long as the material applies to those categories. For example, you can submit a character to the character category and that character belong to an ongoing short film project at the same time
Can I apply twice for the same category?
Yes, you can apply for more than one category as long as the material submitted is for different short films or video games
What should I do if I don't receive one of the confirmation emails after filling out the entry form or after sending the material?
The confirmation may take some time to arrive, since the review of the applications or the material involves some manual steps. Check your spam folder to see if your email provider has flagged them as such. If you still do not receive the confirmation, you can contact us through the form in the main section or email us at info@summa3d.org. We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible
